MIA

Sorry i've been Missing in action for a week or 2... we have been busy here!! I am doing a play food felt swap and busy getting those items ready for my partner.. we went camping for a weekend which was tons of fun with the family... cooking and hosting a highschool slumber party reunion with the girls from my highschool, packing and sending Jimmy/jacob off to boston, and getting our summer schedule put together as i am working on no TV with the kids, craft time, outside time, NO (ok very little) internet during the day for me, and also working towards a later bedtime for the kids now so that I can actually sleep in til 8am, please oh God please let me not have to wake up at 630 all summer long... Things are going well and i am finding enough activity for the kids to keep us busy and me be able to keep up with the housework.. i have a busy workweek coming up too, i work fri/mon/wed so I will probably not post any pics from all the recent events til after that..

As far as updates go:
Jacob is DEFINITELY pottytrained, AMEN!!! he did it all himself and i am soooo proud of him- he still wears a pull up at night for the few little pees he does now and then, but during the day/naptime he is in total control and doesn't need me to remind him to go or anything he is awesome! he is about 3 1/2 now and still full of energy and excitement.. interested in everything and not easily focused on one thing.. he loves to play and his favorite toys are his choochoos, cars, pennies, tools, and his bikes, and bubbles and swinging.. he loves to swing! the higher the better. He can put on his pants and undies himself and usually his socks, and sandals.. needs help with shirts and regular shoes still. He still is having trouble with colors, i question him being color blind! but verbally is doing excellent, learning letters and numbers and hopefully we will get him to write his name by the end of the summer.. he starts swimming lessons on Monday and i pray he listens well and i don't have to scream from across the fence at him as he is still fearless!

Leah is starting to talk alot more and also grow into a little personality, she likes to be funny for sure and pretends to hit to get giggles or give stink faces or just plain try to be silly.. she says: NO, mine, yes, dada, mama, dog, door, baby , bobo, bye bye, all done, hat, eye, honk, shoes, sock, ama (nurse), ball, bike, bubbles, more, milk, hi, be ben (belly button), snack, uh oh, bite, and i am sure a few others i've forgotten.. she's 17months now and still nursing and still waking 1-2x at night, ugh!! i am sooo ready for her to fully sleep thru the night, maybe one day i can hope :) She is into climbing now, up on couches, fireplaces, the nursing stool in her room, the stepstools, and also climbing out of her highchair!

The brother/sister relationship is rocky as he likes to hit her and neither like to share, so i play referree most of the day between the two.
I love them sooo much and couldn't imagine my life without them and am saddened by how fast they are growing up!!! sllllloooooowwwww down babies :)
