Jacob is 3 yrs old!

Jacob has cake on his face that his Aunt Jen made for his bday!
Im a little late on this but I've had sickness invade our house and currently Leah's got pneumonia and i am hoping jacob is not leaning that way too... Its been a very rough week for us with lots of scary moments so we are hoping for some down time soon! But for the updates, jacob turned 3!!!!!!!!!! He now refers to himself as a "kid" or "big kid" or "big boy" He is no longer a baby in his eyes or little...

• Eats meals with spoons and forks, no more fingers most times and is open to most meals however he does not like meat!


• Can run, jump with both feet, stand on one foot, skip, sumersaults, climb stairs like an adult and go down like an adult- no hands on walls, flips off of couches and is just all around very motor.


• Talks in sentences most of the time now and can be understood most of the time. Says letters correctly and can sing his ABC's. Can count to about 13 but tends to skip the number 5!


• Likes singing songs: Jingle Bells, Jesus loves me, ABCs, Twinkle Twinkle little star, Veggie tales, Caillou and lots of others


• Very loving to his sister, constantly wanting to hug her, hold her, kiss her, and love her. Yet in the same way he will knock her down if she's in his way.


• VERY VERY ACTIVE.. constantly on the go and getting into things!


• Sleeps a 3hr nap in the afternoon at noon and then sleeps from 8pm-730am everyday- no fighting still likes bedtime. Sleeps in his twin sized bed in his room.


• 31 lbs (not sure of height yet), and wears a 3t in clothes (some 2t pants) and a 9 1/2 in shoes


• NOT potty trained, we had a few good weeks then now he's gotten behind and could care less and doesn't recognize the need to go on the potty.. i'm sure he won't go to college in diapers :)


• Can throw a ball and catch it if the ball is somewhat large


• Likes: Cars, airplanes, rocket ships, choochoos, puzzles, and monsters!


• Dislikes: Girl stuff that's pink, baby stuff


• He likes to tell people " We have to share!" yet he doesn't like to share himself
