Leah had her 6mo appt yesterday and she did great.. she also has been handling her shots very well!
she is now 16lb 3 1/2 oz 25 1/4inches long and head is 16 3/4 inches round , which the dr. said is all perfect!
She can sit unsupported, roll both ways, play with her feet - those are all new developments that came about in the last week or so...
We do have one big issue that has been making me extremely stressed and that is that i can't seem to get letdowns and it seems to be hurting my milk supply.. this is similar to the downward spiral i was on with jacob around 10 months old.. i know its a battle with my mind and i need to relax but its' easier said than done.. so i am not sure what i am going to do yet! I am hoping if she just can't nurse and get the milk that way because i am too anxious then i will try to pump instead because i have been able to get letdowns that way as the pump doesn't fuss at me if i don't get the letdown right away like leah does, formula is just too darn expensive to have to supplement. I don't know what started this whole anxiety and me noticing my letdowns decreasing, maybe the fact i was sick and feeling awful but either way, its really just a horrible spiral of events that i just can't seem to overcome right now.
