Wow, where has the time gone?! you are 6months old already!! and it's been a great 6months.. You had your first cold this last month and got over it quickly (sadly mommy's turned into a sinus infection and is still lingering) but you did great!
Just this week you decided to out do yourself and do all sorts of fun stuff.
- You now can roll from belly to back and back to belly
-You can sit independantly
-You love pulling on your feet and trying to get them in your mouth
-you sleep in your room but for the most part still wake every 3hrs to nurse
-we have not started solids yet and probably won't for a few more months but you are growing great on just mommy milk alone.
-you love to chew on just about anything and you now like using a pacifier at night.
-You love playing in your exersaucer or your jumpin johnny and now on the floor with a bunch of toys
-you "rake" with your hands just about anything you can to pick up and put in your mouth!
-You are a happy baby for the most part and love watching your brother and all the crazy things he does
-when on your belly you can scoot sideways in a circle but you haven't really become mobile yet
-no teeth yet and not to much drooling either
-your spitting up has really decreased, maybe just a handful of times a day
-you still have pretty blue eyes and your bald spot on the back of your head seems to be filling in with light brown hair, still pretty short and thin though.
-You've got your first mole! It is a very small dot on your left outer buttocks area, barely noticeable.
-lots of "ahahahaha" and raspberry blowing still. and we love making you laugh and giggle!
It's been a joy these 6months Leah!
And Jacob is becoming such a big boy!! He has now transitioned to his bigboy toddler bed and sleeps naptime and bedtime great in it! every once in a while sneaks out but with a stern look it usually sends him running back to his bed for good. He's always been great with these types of transitioning. He is still my little dancer and lately has enjoyed playing the harmonica day and night. He can also put his sandals on himself and we are working on taking clothes off and on too. We attempted potty training but he isn't quite ready, we may revisit that in a few months. He is also REALLY into book reading.. lots of books before nap and bedtime, especially books about Monkeys, he is really into monkey books :)
I guess that's all for now and i'll post some more pics from vacation and the last few weeks shortly..
