Christmas 2010

Christmas was fabulous!! The kids were once again spoiled by family and got everything they wanted and more!  We feel sooo very blessed right now.  We've had a very healthy winter so far and thanking Jesus everyday for that.  Jacob is in school and doing great! I couldn't have been prouder of him at his school play. He sang all the songs and did all the motions and was smiling and happy and behaving the entire time. I just couldn't believe it!!  Leah yelled "Come on Jacob, you're supposed to sing!" when the teachers were trying to quiet the students before starting the play.  The kids are about to turn 3 and 5 and this year has truly been a great year.  They play better together (of course still having little fights here and there) and have similar interests when it comes to movies and toys right now.

Jacob: Recognizes and can write most letters and many numbers, counts to 30, coloring better in the lines, very imaginative, and asks millions of questions each day. Generally a happy boy who can get frustrated easily when something doesn't go how he expects it to. Loves school, has a girlfriend named Emmie who calls for him as soon as he walks in the door, they have buddied up as the teacher puts it. He is having bladder spasms and having to urinate frequently and wets himself in small amounts often- no control and dr say nothing can be done right now.

Leah- counts to 10, is very talkative!!, a little bossy, and loves to be a princess and dress up.  She loves her little babies, fairies, and dogs and horses right now. jewelry is a must!  She is learning her colors and she loves to be read to.

We read to the kids at night at least 5-10 books every night in our bed and they just love that time together. We usually will pray and thank Jesus for the day and Leah still says her same prayer :  "please Jesus, don't let Jesus die, He's soo happy, Amen" EVERYDAY AT EVERYMEAL AND BEDTIME!!!   we've tried to change it with no luck, she'll just add "thank you for the food" to the end of it and that's that.    Jacob dreams alot and frequently will wake and tell us his elaborate dreams, so fun to listen to.

the kids have been sneaking in our beds at night, we will find at least every morning 1 or the other in our bed for the last few hours, we enjoy the cuddle time with them.

WE HAVE A CONTRACT ON OUR HOUSE, AMEN!!!!  That is a huge answer to prayer and we continue to pray that the sale and inspections will go smoothly and that He is preparing our future home for us now and will let us know which one is the one when it comes time. We have found a small house we like, we are just waiting on word to whether or not they accept our offer and terms for rental.
