Playing outside

These were the key rings i made for Jacob's teachers and classroom for teacher appreciation day

Ignore my name on some of the pics.. i was playing around with learning how to make a watermark so people won't steal your pics off your blog and claim they are their pics or your kids.. yes there are sickos out there that do that.... I won't be doing this but just had fun learning how to make the 'mark'

We are almost to shorts weather and i am getting very excited! Except for the fact that it means more bug bites, but it will be nice to retire the jeans for the year and start dressing the kids in lighter clothes and hopefully keep jacob naked so we can potty train him.. he has been sooo resistant and also not ready so hopefully this summer will bring us a potty trained 3yr old! please!!!!! Ever since Jimmy got his basketball hoop we all go outside and play every evening, the kids on their bikes or shooting hoops or playing with chalks (or eating rocks in leah's case) while Jimmy and I play basketball or at least compete with shooting, its been great :) We really hope that we'll be able to shoot some hoops after the kids are in bed, but with the hoop being right outside jacob's window, i am not sure if Jacob will be bothered or not yet, we'll see...

As for as kids update:

Leah has been trying to say more words lately.. she has said outside, peek a boo, shoes (constantly), socks, more, milk, and constantly yelling for me lately 'momma!!!'.. She is still very much attached to me and nursing frequently, she still has 9 teeth now and still working on getting them thru all the way. She's very sweet but is started to get fiesty with jacob and does not like it when he comes to take something from her or knock her down- she's very much a squealer and will squeal at the top of her lungs if she doesn't like something

Jacob is 3 and well 3 is continuing to be a tough age.. he doesn't really like to obey or listen much so it means alot of corner or time out time.. he will come if i start to count to 3 but other than that he's testing me constantly. He enjoys rollerskating, riding his bike, bouncing the balls, shooting nerf guns or water guns, eating and lots of eating! He really wants to get bigger and understands that he has to eat in order to get bigger so he likes to eat :) He's in preschool and loves school still and loves the bus he rides home! He is mostly happy about life but has alot of little frustrations that causes many breakdowns for him throughout the day. Still napping and sleeping great at the same time as Leah, i am pretty lucky ...

As far as me: Nothing much new.. gonna have some minor surgeries to have some suspicious moles removed and also been battling sore throats for a few months, the dr. seems to think its allergies. Working 1 night a week still and still wishing i didn't have to work, but i do.. so that's that. We've been on a slight diet which for me has been tough, i lost about 7 lbs in the beginning, but now i am stuck which i knew would happen because i have horrible metabolism and hormones... the good news is that i am almost the weight i was at my wedding which means 50lbs less than i was each time i got pregnant... bad news is that my 1st goal is still 15lbs off and now all my summer clothes is too big from the last few years considering the last 3 yrs i've either been pregnant or just had a baby and not wanting to buy new clothes yet... Anyway, i've enjoyed taking pictures of the kids and although the focus is off in some of these pictures i still like these...

Jimmy is doing well too! He's lost about 20 lbs i guess, wanting to lose another 5-10lbs or more.. he did it all by quitting pepsi, not fair! but he feels good and we are playing bball in the evening to get a little exercise together... its been fun :) Work is going well for Jimmy and we enjoy having our weekends off together without him having meetings, etc..

We just celebrated our 7 yr wedding anniversary last month and i can't believe its been that long! I would have never guessed 10 yrs ago that i would have been happily married with 2 healthy kids, in fact a boy and a girl 2 yrs apart like i always wanted, and working only 1 day a week... I've definitely been blessed!
