Leah 15months old

Leah you are now 15months old and really starting to have your personality and voice emerge!

You had one shot this month and your stats are this: 20lbs 9oz (10%) and height 29 1/2 inches (50%) head: 17 3/4inches

You are the sweetest, calmest baby still. You are great out in public and can even sit thru a whole church service from time to time.

You started walking really good a few months ago and has started working on your faster stride recently, you pretend to jump by bouncing up and down and you can spin in circles now.

You say: Mama, Dada, hi, bye bye, bo bo, ball, peekaboo, bite, shoe, dog/woofwoof, and papaw, up up (for hands up), uhoh

You still love your pacis and sleep with several at night, and you sleep thru the night! you usually go to bed at 7pm and wake around 6am to nurse and sometimes head back to sleep for a few more hours after that. You also still take a 3hr nap with your brother from 12-3p.

You are great at mealtime and will eat anything we put in front of you. You nurse still about 3-5 times a day give or take.

You have a runny nose and have had a runny nose for MONTHS! we've got you on zyrtec in hopes that its allergies but so far the runny nose is still present. You've had 2 ear infections and strep throat 1x and that's been the extent of your illnesses other than minor colds throughout the winter that we all shared.

You still have only 6 teeth, 4 on top, 2 on bottom.. waiting for more still..

You still love to hug your dolly's and you don't have a favorite toy but you like exploring and playing with everything in each room. You actually have started to watch a little tv and enjoy the monsters on sesame street.

I'd describe your personality as a gentle, happy baby that still feels as if she is one with mommy.. you are very much attached to me and would like to be in my arms or attached to my breast at all times if you could.

Jacob you are 39 mo (3yr 3mo)... I can't believe you are a 3yr old!!! It has definitely been a rough age for you so far with lots of fun new beginnings and yet also hard for you to adjust to.

You are in preschool now and loving every minute of it- you get to ride the bus home and that's probably one of your favorite parts of school. The teachers say you are doing great but tend to wander the halls in the morning or need a buddy in the hall as you will see something you want to touch or run to.

At home you are very good with your sister, most days you play together nicely and share food and toys. Your favorite toys are your dragons, nerf guns, cars, choochoos, puzzles, and more.

You sleep 12hrs at night and 3 hrs at naptime with no problems.. you are the greatest at bedtime! you love to read books at night about 5-10 a night with daddy and go to sleep with your little nightlight and several cars or toys in bed with you.

You still wear diapers!! i can't seem to get you to not want them or learn how to empty your bladder or sense when you need to go.. hopefully in a few months we will give it another go at potty training.

To describe your personality all i can say is that you are extremely active and you like to enjoy everything.. sometimes you get a little too excited when other kids are around and it gets you into trouble, but for the most part you are just having too much fun to listen or obey...

As far as learning goes, you can count to 20 , knows your ABCs, recognize multiple letters, can pick your name out of a pile, write the letters J, T, Z, O, S ,and W.. know LOTS of songs from school.. can draw a body somewhat, and starting to learn your colors well...
