Leah you are ten months old today! i can't believe in only 2 months it will have been a whole year that we have been blessed with you in our lives... I think it might be the lack of you sleeping thru the night that has made it go soo fast or just that life goes fast!
You continue to be the sweetest little baby around..
You love to clap, clap when you see me walk in your room in the morning, clap when you are happy, clap when you are about to be fed or picked up.. just always clapping and smiling.. soo sweet.
You crawl like a pro and also starting to cruise like a pro, getting more confident in your every move.
You can climb up stairs.. all the way! without fear and very quickly, yet you do also show a little fear when you are at the top of the stairs looking down, you tend to stop and not make a move and just cry.. that's my girl :)
You love food, any food really.. haven't shown any sides of pickiness or texture issues.. just willing to eat anything at this stage!
Still nursing about every 2-3 hrs during the day and up 2-3 times at night to nurse also..
Weighing in at about 19 lbs probably and in size 12-18mo clothes and size 4 diapers still and size 3 shoes, not that you need them.
NO TEETH YET STILL!!! and no drooling or other signs of teething on the way
You are very good with your hands and can pick up the smallest piece of dirt on the floor..
You still only say "mama, dada, and bye bye and wave bye bye" but that's enough to melt my heart..
I just can't kiss and love on you enough, you are soo sweet and cuddly and sensitive, i just love you soo much!!
Jacobs update:
I can't even begin to put into words what a fun imaginative little guy he is!!!!! He is starting to obey much better and counting 1-2-3 is working and so is the threat of an early naptime or no snack or a spanking... he has even repeated back to me "no take baby toys or you'll get a spank on the butt"
He is the sweetest big brother and constantly is loving on his Sissy saying "I love Baby, or I love Sissy"
He's gentle, kind and just loving (most days) and sooooo adventurous.. always on the go!
He is getting such an imagination and loves anything about Monsters or Dinosaurs or Dragons... wants to read a million books that will scare him!
His fav books are berenstein bears and monster books right now
His fav toys are Cars and choochoos still.
His fav shows are Caillou, Veggie Tales, and Berenstein Bears
His talking is improving daily and he is mostly speaking in short sentences and conversing is a breeze now
He has also shown an interest in potty training, frequently telling me he has to poopoo on the potty and then does it or at least pees! we've been sticking him in pullups and he can pull them up and down on his own now and still gets wet, but i can see with his new interest that its only a matter of months before he nails pottytraining altogether. His rewards are mini MMs and DumDums ..
He weighs 31pounds, wears 3t clothing, and size 9 shoes
He loves to cook, constantly wanting to help me "mix it" and he does a really good job!
I'll add some more updates later, I worked last night, cooked a pie today and so i am now very much ready for bed!!!!
