Pictures of our House

A month ago when trying to show someone pics of our house I realized that we never actually posted pics of our house after we painted the rooms or moved in.. so, here are some pics i took today of the inside of our house.. I did not take pictures of our laundry room that has a half bath or of the side patio or garage of course or the stairways.... But here you go :)

This is the front of our house.. there used to be a pond where the flowers are now, but i hated the thing and ripped it out and am soo much more pleased with a flower garden there.. i was always afraid of kids drowning in it or the maintenance alone was awful.

This is our kitchen obviously , jacob's standing on the stairs in the pic...

This is Leah's room.. when we moved here we didn't know if i was having a boy or girl so we painted it yellow and decided to reuse the decor from jacob's nursery... She will get her "girly" room, but probably not til she moves to a toddler bed or has some kind of 'like' that i can use as inspiration.. okay, so she has a pink sheet and a babydoll in her bed :)

This is Jacob's room, as you can see I have yet to replace the border he ripped off as he continues to do it! so i may be waiting another year before he thinks that's fun


This is the tent in Jacob's room (As i have mentioned he sometimes sleeps in a tent) Since he's not much for bed sleeping, he does frequently sleep in this and zip himself into it.. i guess it protects him from his "monsters"

This is the living room, the ceiling is slanted and covered in wood. Jacob is saying "I don't have a camera" and Leah is in her "safezone" away from Jacob.. okay so mainly she's in there when i am doing laundry to keep her from Jacob who likes to play rough with her when i am not watching..

This is our bathroom attached to our bedroom, hence the blue paint continues in there. We installed the shower door... this room and the bedroom were originally DARK green...


OH my.. this is our messy Den where Jimmy and I each have desks and i have a table that i do my sewing,etc. on.. this also houses the futon for Jimmy when Leah wants to cosleep as he's a deep sleeper and where Jimmy goes to watch his sports.. If he had his way, this would be his "Man Room" hahaha

This is the kids bathroom in the upstairs hallway

This is the backyard view from the deck out the kitchen backdoor.. we have a table/chairs and grill on the deck (not shown) The playhouse and doghouse were there when we moved in and match the house.. We put in the swingset when we moved in. (okay, so my dad did :) )
