Pics from Labor Day

WE saw a pirate at the parade and so i had jacob do his pirate face and this is what i got... he's saying "arrrrhhhh" at this moment and squinting one eye as if it has a patch over it... he sometimes shakes his head back and forth when he does this too.. too cute!!!!

He still loves her more than anything!!

I don't understand this.. but jacob likes to crawl under his desk and sleep instead of his bed... WHY!!!
This is jacob's halloween costume that he put on Leah

This is my handmade mai tei... its an asian style baby carrier ( a twist between a moby and front carrier like a baby bjorn) I LOVE IT.. not soo much the colors as i bought them off the dollar rack.. but the feel and the support and the way it distributes her weight.. i added some individual touches, padding in the leg holes and the head rest.. a ring to add a toy or pacifier.. and cap sleeves so the weight distributes evenly over the shoulders.. she and I both love it and i've stuck Jacob in it too and it holds his weight very well also

It took 3 dollars and 5hrs or so of sewing.. but well worth it as they retail up towards 90 dollars sometimes, woh!

My moby is too stretchy now so i won't be able to use it this winter and my pouch sling will be hard to do hip hold with coats on.. so i thought this would be good for winter as i could still throw a sweater or jacket on me and zip her in with me... She can also ride on my hip , back, or forward facing in this sling, so its very versatile.
