Jacob is finally starting to talk a little better, at least in 4-6 word sentences at some times... so most of what he says we can finally understand. He still adds in his "ah ah" at times as his connecting words, but he is starting to say things that come to his mind instead of just factual talking.. he can count to twelve and sing his abc's with me.. he doesn't get all the letters right, but he knows what comes next.. Today while at the park,he was sitting at the top of the slide, he yells "I'm the KING!" i guess he felt big sitting up there... and he also told his choo choos today that he loved them and hugged them and also told his sister "i love you sister" and proceeded to give her lots of kisses. He is very affectionate towards Leah still and loves her more than anything! he is constantly showing her affection all day long and giving many kisses and hugs. He is also such a good boy and obedient boy when we go out.. he holds onto his "handle" which is any kind of protrusion or hole on the side of strollers/carts/etc... whatever, its his handle and he will not let go.. it makes it sooo easy to go out and know that he'll obey and stay in his place.
I'll try to get some more pictures uploaded to here, but for now blogger and i guess the weather is not permitting and has only allowed for 1 to get posted... we have a bare electrical wire currently hanging off the side of our house as i sit here and wait for the electrical company to arrive and fix this deadly hazard! it made a huge popping sound when it broke (along with the tree that fell down in my front yard, make that 3 trees this year alone in my yard down!) and after checking both kids rooms i went outside and almost got his by this bare wire hanging over the door.. scarey! Today at dinner time, jacob found a plastic ring from the top of a jar of soy sauce and put it on his finger and looked at my ring and jimmy's ring and says "mommy's ring, daddys' ring, jacob's ring" and held his finger up proudly with the plastic ring in place... He also can put his sandals on himself and still happily goes to bed in his toddler bed which was a very easy transition still. Still not potty trained and truthfully he's not ready yet.. we'll try again in a couple months..
Leah FINALLY has started to sleep longer than 2-3 hr stretches.. the last 4 nights now, she has slept for 5 hrs then another 4-5 hrs after a quick nurse.. its been really really nice to get some much needed sleep finally. She is such a GOOD BABY!! I can't tell you the last time she's been fussy really. I mean she cries to let me know she's hungry or tired, but really other than that little whimper, she's as happy as can be. She loves watching Jacob play and he makes her laugh often. She still is immobile, she doesn't crawl and hardly will roll unless she's in her bed. She sits up great still and happily plays with her toys without a care in the world.
