http://tours.justsnooping.com/2281224/?b=true okay, so this is the website with some of the pictures of the house we are in the process of buying... it doesn't show the cute backyard.. I will be taking a bunch of my own pictures in the next coming weeks as we get to get in the house again during inspections and one more walk thru..
Well, as it states above we got the house we wanted, they accepted our offer.. woohoo!!! As soon as my mom and I walked around the parameter of the house and saw the playhouse out back that had a little duck painted on the door, it was like a sign that this was the house for us (jacob absolutely loves DUCKS) and YES we also fell in love with the rest of the house too=inside and out, it was definitely the house we felt God leading us too.. it has everything we needed and prayed for and more!! God is surely good... I'll give you the run down: 3 bedrooms , 2 1/2 baths, a living room, family room, and an extra room thats too big to be called a 4th bedroom so it's called a den and it's off of the family room downstairs.. the living room and kitchen are on the main level and the 3 bedrooms are upstairs... all appliances stay..woohoo! there is an extra large 2 car garage with an attached ladder to a huge attic for storage already finished with plywood so easily accessible and able to be walked around in.. a private large deck off of the kitchen, a flat backyard with mature trees already fenced in with a Playhouse and Doghouse that match the big house.. an extra large concrete patio on the side of the house for a basketball "court" as jimmy wants to use it for and beautiful landscaping, oh yeah and a pond in the front yard, which makes for a cute entry into the house. The family that lived there prior was into woodworking so there are lots of nice little touches and built-ins around the house that are staying that show this.. it's about 700 square foot more of living space than our current house, so it definitely has the extra space we were hoping for, we just lose the unfinished basement which is fine with me...
Now for the part that is heavily weighing on our stress levels... OUR CURRENT HOUSE.. the only way we could get this house was with a bridge loan for reasons that are out of our hands because of the current owners situation.. so as of june 15th we will be the proud and scared owners of 2 homes until our house sells which could be a financial strain we'll just have to wait and see...
we have been on the market for 6 days and not ONE showing or bite of interest.. the realtor called me today and said the market has taken a huge hit and there is hardly anyone interested in moving right now, it seems like there was lots of movement 3 weeks ago but not anymore... she said she hasn't gotten one phone call in the office in the last 3 days regarding interest in ANY house at all, she said that is odd.. so for now, she tried to tell me not to worry and i've already decided in my heart not too... BECAUSE, I have learned over my life experiences to TRUST JESUS and that is exactly what i am going to do.. and if you need anymore reason here's why:
1.Jimmy was looking for a job and we prayed that he would get the job that Jesus intended him to have with less stress and better hours..
Jimmy now has a good paying job with little stress and loving it, he is getting great experience for his future career life.
2. Prayed that we would find a house that met our needs in a small town where nice houses are rarely found.
Found a house we love and our offer was accepted and exactly in the price range we had prayed for
3. Had lots of fertility and pregnancy problems
Have a beautiful Toddler boy now
4. When Jimmy was looking for his job and we weren't sure if i was going to be able to pick up the hours needed to pay bills
Able to pay our bills and me find the hours needed to work to pay those bills (which i definitely wouldn't be able to do now, considering work situations)
On my prayer list now are a job for me and our house to sell and I know both of those will happen, whether God wants us to stretch our pennies to get to that point, we'll just have to wait and see, but with Him I know we can do it!
