These are combined easter gifts/baskets from momma and dadda, cousin Missy, Aunt Jen/Uncle Scott, Great Aunt Mary, and Mamaw and Papaw. I think his favorite gift was the Gertie ball until SAMMIE THE DOG who also loves balls and must have been jealous, popped it after Jacob was so nice to actually share and throw the ball to Sammie so they could play together!!

Jacob never woke wednesday after i got home from work until i woke on my own at 11am and realized he hadn't woke me up yet (like he normally does, i usually nap til he wakes in the morning, i work nights). He was feverish, nauseated and very sleepy. i couldn't get him to eat for hours and the fever persisted all thru the next night also. Today he's been eating well and playing well but still feverish up to 103, so we went to the dr. he said all of his lymph nodes are swollen and spleen is enlarged which could be due to anything from a bad virus to mononucleosis to leukemia so Jacob had to go get a bunch of blood work done (took 2 sticks, poor little guy). Of course I am a wreck with all the thoughts of what could be wrong going thru my head. I am glad he is at least eating/drinking normal and playing normal today, just a little fussy and wanted a little longer naps. Here is a picture of him after i put him to bed, as long as he isn't cold/shakey i've been dressing him loosely to help try to keep that fever down. I couldn't help but take this picture, i'd have to say he really loves his winnie the pooh that sings him to sleep every night. Oh and of course his "bobo's" he must always hold one too...
These are also his easter pictures from the morning ( i don't have the pictures yet from his easter egg hunt, they are at my parents/brother and sister in law's houses)
He also has started to enjoy drinking from his sippy cup then spitting all the water back at you as seen in one of the pictures i posted.
Update* okay its 5am right now when i am finishing this post and jacob went to bed without a fever and so far every time i've checked on him he hasn't felt too hot and he's also been a light sleeper like he usually is because last night he never woke when i checked on him or took his temperature in the middle of the night and tonight he is waking just a little every time i open his door so he must be feeling somewhat better to not be so heavily into a deep sleep. I pray for no fever today and a healing that whatever this is , it goes away so fast that we don't even know what it was!
